NIAGARA FALLS, USA: MAID OF THE MIST!

After spending more then 28 years in the United States, I have to admit, this is the first time I voyaged on the Maid of the Mist! However, I have been to both sides of the falls, with the Canadian side providing the better view. Nevertheless, there is something fun and interesting on both sides. This is also the first time that we went to Niagara Falls together as a family. 

When crossing the Rainbow Bridge from Canada to the USA we had some great views of the Maid of the Mist Observation deck and the boats floating on the river below.

The views from the elevated observation area was pretty impressive. I really enjoyed them!

After walking around and soaking in the sights, we ended that day at the Hard Rock Cafe. Last time we ate at this restaurant was in Disney and it was a bit different. But we had an excellent meal before traveling back home. 

Traveling to Niagara Falls on the weekday is a lot more pleasant then the weekends from past experiences. While on the boat we did see the zip-line action on the Canadian side. We may need to come back in a few years to try that out when the kids are older.
