CAMP DAY #2 IN PHOTOS

The first night was a little rough for Adrian's sleeping patterns because it was a first time experience for him. It was also a night when we put the kid's sleeping bags to the test to see if they would keep them warm. However, with paranoid parents, like us who got up every couple hours; we covered and touch the little hands and noses to make sure they weren't too cold. Even though the temperatures dipped into the high 40's everyone stayed warmed.

Alexis and Adrian snuggled together in the morning, while Lesya and I tried to snooze for a few more  minutes.

Adrian had a blast running around in his new Hunter boots.  The hoodie couldn't be more accurate, "Dawn Patrol."

Lesya cooked up some delicious eggs and Canadian bacon. Breakfast is our family's favorite meal of the day.

Later for lunch we had toasted ham and cheese sandwiches with tomato soap. Awesome lunch! We all devoured at least one sandwich and a nice cup of soup. Some of us couldn't help but have a second helping.

Alexis and Adrian love playing in the water. Although the water was a on the chillier side, they some how managed to stay warm.

We spent some time in Inlet after dinner. Dessert at Northern Lights Ice Cream Parlor and then a walk to the playground pleased everyone.

A great way to end the day is sitting next to the fire and warming up as the night temperatures slowly drop. We picked up on a good idea one year while camping, Tiki torches! And ever since the amount of torches has steadily increased. They look nice in the dark, the oil keeps the bugs at bay, and its a great source of light around the campsite.
